The Point POSBS50569CB side by side has plenty of storage space for all your groceries. The 573-liter side by side combines a refrigerator and a freezer into one convenient appliance. It has a modern stylish design with no bulky or protruding handles, and its exterior includes a thoroughly convenient ice and water dispenser. Where you place the freestanding appliance can also be chosen more flexibly when compared to built-in home appliances.
Dispenser for water and cubed or crushed ice
Nothing quite refreshes on a hot summer day like a cold glass of water or lemonade. With the side by side’s water and ice dispenser you can more easily enjoy these refreshing beverages. You can directly get cold water from the dispenser or ice cubes to keep other drinks cold. You even have the choice of crushed ice. And if you in turn don’t need ice for a long time, you can select the Ice Off setting. The control panel also has an indicator for when the appliance’s water tank needs your attention.
Display and controls on the door exterior
A display for monitoring the fridge and freezer temperatures can be conveniently found above the door dispenser. This way you won’t have to unnecessarily open the doors and let the cold escape when you want to use functions or adjust temperatures. The refrigerator has a temperature range between 2 to 8 °C whereas the freezer’s is between -24 and -16 °C. Touch controls for selecting functions, such as fast freezing and cooling, can also be found connected to the display. If your family in turn has children, you have the control panel’s convenient lock function at your disposal. By activating it, you lock the controls, meaning children can’t change the settings.
Automatically defrosting freezer means less hassle
Do you dread when you’ll have to spend the day defrosting your freezer again? Not to worry, as the side by side’s freezer has a No Frost system to prevent ice and frost from forming. When ice doesn’t regularly accumulate on the freezer walls, the interior stays nice and clean. This also means you don’t need to regularly defrost the freezer anymore, saving you both time and effort.
Super freezing for freezing large quantities
The four-star freezer also has the choice of a super freezing function which enables fast freezing of large quantities of food. By freezing food quickly, nutrients in it are better preserved. After roughly 40 hours the freezer will exit the super freezing mode on its own.
Reliable storage of your groceries
You can rest assured that your groceries are safely stored in optimal conditions inside the side by side. The ADT Fresh system in the refrigerator, for example, ensures your groceries are properly cooled. The appliance also has a door alarm that goes off when the door has been open for more than two minutes.
Well-lit interior with vegetable drawers
Both the side by side’s freezer and refrigerator have four shelves as well as two drawers at the bottom. In the refrigerator drawers you can comfortably store fruits and vegetables separate from other food items. Both the freezer and refrigerator also have an LED light on their interior ceiling to light up the interior. This way you can always see inside the side by side.
Storage space for tall packages and bottles too
Sometimes you may need slightly more shelf room for exceptionally tall packages. The refrigerator has four door shelves where you can conveniently store tall bottles or why not jars, for example. The freezer side’s door also has a shelf for suitable products. The main glass shelves of the appliance are also removable which makes it easier to adapt the space between shelves for larger food items. Removable shelves are also much easier to clean.
