Based on magnetic fields, an induction hob on the other hand only heats up the cookware on top of it when electricity is applied to the inductor below the hob’s surface. The induction hob is therefore safe to use as it only heats up the pot or pan when it is in place. The hob is ready to use in a blink of an eye, so you no longer have to wait for the water to boil in the pot or the oil to warm up in the frying pan for several minutes.
